Prayer Ministry

Prayer Requests
Prayer requests for yourself and family can be listed on Connection Cards during Sunday morning worship services. Prayer requests can also be submitted here: PRAYER REQUEST.  Information is held confidential and will be prayed for by the church staff and the Intercessory Prayer Team.

Sunday Mornings
Trained Prayer Teams will be available to pray with and for you during our Sunday morning worship services.

Abiding Prayer
On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 7:00-8:00pm  a quiet time of “Resting in the Lord” is held. Quiet music is played and an opening prayer and request for the Holy Spirit’s presence is made and the hour is provided for silent individual prayer. Many recline on mats on the floor or use the benches and pillows in the room to be in a relaxed posture to pray.  Abiding Prayer meets upstairs in the Youth Room.

Healing Prayer Appointments
Apostles has trained (volunteer) two person prayer teams that will meet you for Prayer. A prayer appointment time slot is 1 ½ to 2 hours but can be shorter as the Lord might lead. The Prayer Team is not about judging, suggesting changes, or solving life problem, but is about inviting the Holy Spirit to be present to bring healing and peace. Appointments can be made by emailing prayer.apostles@gmail.com. There is often a backlog and you will be fit into the next available open prayer appointment slot. Many times multiple appointments may be appropriate with a maximum of 5 unless special circumstances indicate more. This prayer time is confidential and the prayer ministers that you meet with will not discuss with other prayer ministers or the staff unless emergency crisis situations develop.
