Children’s Ministry

Apostles Children’s Ministry Vision | Fall 2021
Lauren Mann, Director of Next Generation Ministries

Join us to celebrate the real story of who St Nicholas was and the real meaning of the season of Christmas – about GIVING!  God giving his Son, Jesus to us and we as a result, give to others in need like St Nicholas did.  After a brief story about St. Nicholas, we will have a celebration and hang out with goodies. Please consider bringing a toy to donate for the Pride 4 Parents Christmas Store, but join us regardless.

Children from Pre-K to 5th grade begin in the sanctuary with their families for the start of our worship service. After singing a few songs together, they will be dismissed for age appropriate teaching and fun while adults stay in the sanctuary for the sermon. Our desire for Kid’s Club is for children to connect with God and each other through engaging activities, games and teaching. Join us!

We love children here at Church of the Apostles, and we look forward to meeting you and your children! It is our desire for children of all ages to feel safe and loved while they are with us. Our check in process is simple for parents so you can easily drop off your child(ren) and enjoy the worship service.

We provide a nursery during our 8:30 & 11:00am worship services, as well as during our Formation Hour from 10:00-10:45am during the school year (taking a break in December & the summer months). Our caregivers are all trained volunteers who love children and desire to share the love of Jesus.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

While adults attend the Formation Forum {adult education} from 10:00-10:45am {between worship services} for their enrichment, we have offerings for children as well! Children ages 0-4 are welcome in the nursery to play with their friends and the loving caregivers. For elementary age children, we have two classes (PreK – 2nd grade & 3rd-5th grade) where they experience the Bible in a new and fun way while building connections with other children their age!

The 10am Hour is offered during the school year taking a break in December and for the summer).
